Festival Place is thrilled to present Canadian singer songwriter Ferron & Her All Star Band, September 15, 2017.

A fierce social justice advocate and one of Canada's most respected songwriters, Ferron first became one of the most influential lyrical songwriters of the women's music circuit, with her song "Testimony" becoming an anthem. From the mid-80's on, her songwriting talents have been recognized and appreciated by music critics and broader audiences, with comparisons being made to the writing talents of Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen.

Now in its 23rd year of music, theatre, comedy, and special events, Festival Place continues to be Alberta’s #1 Presenter of Professional Artists. The 2016/2017 season showcased an eclectic mix of over 80 incredibly talented performers. The upcoming 2017/2018 season carries on the same ambitious standard of entertainment, with close to 50 performances already scheduled between September 2017 and April 2018, with new shows added throughout the year.
