Today the Scarboro United Church held a special celebration after making the decision to become an affirming congregation.

This acknowledges that the congregation has completed the affirming Ministry educational programme and is of faith and action which welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people into all aspects of their life and work.

The celebration included a choral performance by the Calgary Men's Chorus.
