If you have been following the news lately, you will be aware of the elevated importance of the cookie here in Alberta. It is more important than our health care system or wait times in the emergency departments in hospitals!

In order to honour the cookie, let's have a good old-fashioned bake sale!

On Sunday, December 19th from 1:00- 6:00 pm, come down to Club Sapien with your friends to sample and purchase some great baking. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO AIDS CALGARY HAMPER PROGRAM!

Just in time for Christmas, do your baking the easy way: Buy it!

HOW CAN YOU HELP ?

-Donate some baking! Drop it off at Club Sapien from 11:00am - 1:00 pm Sunday, December 19

-Donate an item for the silent auction. Ask your neighbors, friends, families, business contacts and the owners/managers of businesses you frequent and ask them to donate an item. Buy something and donate it yourself! Drop off a donated item from 11:00am - 1:00 pm Sunday, December 19 or contact John (johnthesub@gmail.com) to arrange for pick-up before Dec. 19.

-Volunteer to help set up, sell baking, supervise the silent auction and clean up at the end. We need about 10 volunteers.

-Do you sing? Play an instrument? Put together a group and lend your voices to do some carolling during the event!

-And, of course, attend! Make time that day to drop by and buy something!

Celebrate the season with friends and come down to Club Sapien.

Remember, all money raised will go to AIDS Calgary.
