The Calgary Dyke March is a walk to increase queer female visibility in the city and to celebrate all women who love women. It is meant to be an all-inclusive family friendly event for queer women, their families, friends, and supporters.
The first annual March will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at noon. The March will start at the clock at Shaw Millennium Park, follow 8th Ave to Century Gardens. After the march, there will be space to gather and live performances by Hashmagandy and other local artists.
Toni Vere & Hashmagandy have signed on to perform in after the March! We're very excited to have a proud Calgarian and a proud Dyke as part of our entertainment.
