James and Nikhail met in Hong Kong and quickly became friends over boat parties. As it turns out, taking these "junks" out was a regular activity and hardly as exclusive as a yacht party would seem in western countries. Due to the number of occasions, deciding what to wear on board became a dilemma. You couldn’t wear the same outfit each time, and there would be almost the same people on board each time. Not to mention, it sometimes got a little slippery on deck and you wouldn’t want anything expensive ruined or lost at sea. So we thought, why not seize the moby dick per say and create a line of tank tops that would be affordable and fun to wear during every junk and activity in a tropical climate. What emerged was Gaytanks, a way to be funny and fashionable in the heat, using a fine tri-blend of materials from the East with a wicked sense of humor from the West. That way everyone can be a silly sailor.
