Celebrity Interviews

Our first interview in GayCalgary® Magazine was with Dawn Wells, Mary Ann from Gilligan’s Island, who we interviewed when she was performing at Stage West Calgary. From there, it grew exponentially. In some editions of the magazine, we could easily have anywhere from 8 to 10 interviews. We have interviewed celebrities like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Chris Pratt, Dolly Parton, Meryl Streep, Cher, Kylie Minogue and so much more. Depending on the interview, some are with video too!

Along with our love for Drag, we have interviewed RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alaska, Courtney Act, Chi Chi LaRue, Sharon Needles, Bianca Del Rio, Bob the Drag Queen, and Drag Performers that are local to around the world.

Our team of writers at GayCalgary also enjoy our love of Sci-fi, Fantasy and Japanimation, which has us interviewing performers from the Star Trek franchise, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and from Marvel Movies/TV Shows. Amazing interviews with George Takei, Elvira, Jonathan Frakes, Aaron Douglas, Tahmoh Penikett, Wil Wheaton, Nichelle Nichols, Casper Van Dien, Walter Koenig, Bill Paxton, Luke Perry, Brett Dalton, James Marsters, and plenty more!

This is a work in progress since there are over 6,000 articles to review, and many articles need to be updated to our current format. As more content are added, it will be broken down even further into sections.
