He’s fought Egyptian mummies and swung through the jungle, and now he’s landing in Calgary for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo: Brendan Fraser is the latest special celebrity guest announced for Calgary Expo 2020. Fraser (The Mummy trilogy, George of the Jungle, Encino Man, and currently on DC’s Doom Patrol) will be making his first trip to Calgary Expo, which will be celebrating its 15th anniversary April 23-26 at Stampede Park. Fans can meet Fraser at Photo Ops and Autograph Sessions (additional fees apply) or hear from live on stage at Spotlight Q&A (included with all tickets). His schedule will be announced in the spring.
Tickets for Calgary Expo are available tomorrow, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 am Mountain.
Early-bird pricing is available until January 14, 2020. Single-day admission for adults start at just $15 (+t/sf) and four-day admission starts at just $95, for this limited time. Tickets are only available online via calgaryexpo.com. Limited tickets/types may be available in-person at the door.
In November, Calgary Expo announced a special Middle-earth reunion "The Four Hobbits: An Unexpected Reunion" will take place during the 15th anniversary weekend featuring Elijah Wood ("Frodo"), Sean Astin ("Samwise Gamgee"), Billy Boyd ("Pippin"), and Dominic Monaghan ("Merry") - appear for the first time together in Canada at Calgary Expo 2020 and at a separately ticketed after-hours special event (tickets start at $25).
