Virtual hairstylist allows iPhone/iPad users to test a new look without entering salon

EvelineCharles Salons|Spas|Beauty MD launch an interactive iPhone application (app) to display the latest EvelineCharles (EC) photo collection and allow the general public to virtually test new hairstyles anywhere. To coincide with the opening of the newest EC location in Calgary’s Core shopping centre on April 18, 2011 the app is available for download on any iPhone or iPad at no cost.

The Virtual Hairstylist app the first of its kind for the Canadian Beauty Industry, an innovative marketing tool that allows the client to try a new hair cut or hair colour without permanent change. If the user wants to make the new look a reality, the app features a link to search for the nearest salon and online booking concierge. All EC stylists are trained to complete the featured haircuts, colours and finishing techniques.
