HIV Edmonton and JTMF West are proud to announce a luxury prize package for VIP ticket purchasers for the 2011 Artists for Life: Edmonton. Event will be held May 7, 2011 at the Catalyst Theatre.
All VIP Ticket Purchasers will be entered into a draw to win a luxury weekend at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, including 2 nights’ accommodations and a $1,000 gift card redeemable anywhere at the resort.
VIP Tickets are $100 for the event, which includes a full night of entertainment, a post-show concert by The Derina Harvey Band, a catered reception sponsored by Cook’s Corner, Alley Kat Brewery and Yellowtail Wines, and now, a 1-in-40 chance of winning this luxury resort package valued at nearly $2,000.
Tax receipts are available for a portion of all ticket purchases.
2011 Artists for Life: Edmonton will celebrate the work of Edmonton film-maker, Trevor Anderson. Anderson’s work has screened at many international film festivals, including Sundance, Berlin, Toronto, SXSW, Outfest and AFI Fest. At Hot Docs, Anderson won the inaugural Lindalee Tracey Award, presented to "an emerging Canadian filmmaker working with passion, humour, a strong sense of social justice and a personal point of view." 2011 Artists for Life: Edmonton will highlight three of Anderson’s films:

, and fresh from trips to Sundance and SXSW,
The High Level Bridge

There will be performances between Anderson’s films by three of Edmonton’s up-and-coming musicians: Simon-Marc de Freitas, 100 Mile House and David Shepherd, as well as a post-show concert by The Derina Harvey Band.
