In Light of recent Orlando’s tragic on events we need more than ever to highlight the importance in solidarity within our communities. And to remind the public that we are incredibly diverse, and instead of fighting with one another, we need to come together and embrace it. We need to accept that, first and foremost, we're all humans that are in this together. Everything else should come after that. This event is to celebrate diversity in Alberta.
Join Chevi Rabbit for the 5th Annual Hate to Hope, Diversity Rally to commemorate the horrific hate crime that sparked the creation of this event and drove Chevi to call attention to the immediate necessity of creating a safer Alberta for non-binary, trans and queer folk.
Proceeds from this year's rally/walk will go to TESA (Trans Equality Society of Alberta) and will feature several prominent community members, human rights advocates and politicians with a portion of sales from food from Jimmy Poblano's Southwest Cantina food truck donated to TESA.
Hate to Hope at the Heart of the event is a promise by Rabbit... "I want to continue to raise awareness and break down social barriers and celebrate what's most important our humanity. We need to continue making our great province inclusive and welcoming." (chevi rabbit)

This year’s NON FOR PROFIT is TESA: Every year I've chosen a Not For Profit with the same humanitarian values as Hate to Hope. Last year I picked Pride Centre of Edmonton. This year I chose Trans Equality Society of Alberta. All proceed raised by the walk will go to Trans Equality Society of Alberta (TESA).
Please remind all your followers to save their tummies. We have Jimmy Poblano’s Southwest Cantina foot truck on site. Buy your supper and support TESA. Jimmy Poblano’s Southwest Cantina foot truck will be onsite just in time for supper and will be donating a portion of profits to TESA.
