6 Year Total Fundes Raised Now Surpasses $130K

JTMF West is proud to announce the results for the 2015 Artists for Life event held Saturday, May 2, 2015 in The Club at the Citadel. This year’s event raised a JTMF West total of $30,000. The results of the 2015 event bring JTMF West’s 6-year fundraising total to $133,000.

Thanks to sponsors TD Bank, the Edmonton Eskimos, Francis Price & Marguerite Trussler and the Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wild Rose for their support of 2015 Artists for Life, an event to benefit HIV Edmonton, Camp fYrefly and Theatre Network

JTMF West is a local arts organization, created with the mandate of raising funds for HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ and at-risk youth support services while celebrating the philanthropic spirit of artists. The 2015 event supported HIV Edmonton and Camp fYrefly, and introduced Theatre Network as a beneficiary in response to the tragic fire at The Roxy.

This year’s headliner Del Barber rocked a packed house in The Club at the Citadel and ended his set with 200 new fans in Edmonton. Chloe Albert wowed the crowd and generously donated a house concert that was included in the live auction. The event also featured our first foray into opera with a stunning performance by Teiya Kasahara and end with a full dance floor courtesy of Cornbread.

Edmonton Eskimos President & CEO, Len Rhodes, and long snapper Ryan King were on hand to announce the Eskimos formal endorsement of Camp fYrefly.

The evening featured more than 50 artists between the on-stage talent and participants in the auction. 2015 Artists for Life also featured a reception sponsored by Alley Kat Brewery.
