Forms of harassment, like bullying, have become "weapons of choice" devastating to targeted individuals. In fact, bullying is easily orchestrated because once someone is picked out as the target, others become fearful of supporting them or even being associated with them. A vicious group dynamic takes hold. Almost no-one, however strong mentally, can stand up to this indefinitely. Over time it leads to permanent injury progressing into panic attacks, flashbacks, nightmares, deep depression and even thoughts of suicide. This is the ideal outcome for attackers because the victim can be labelled as defective and responsible for their own plight. This workshop explores different types of bullying and harassment – personal, sexual and abuse of power and authority.
