The Twisted Element nightclub had to shut its doors last month from the 20st to 24th, releasing mixed reports on their facebook site that originally blamed a break in the water main, then later a damaged sewer line.

Nearly 3 hours prior to the Pride Dance on June 21st, Twisted Element updated their facebook site and webpage to encourage their patrons to visit the Dance if they needed a place to party on the Saturday night.

Organizers of the Pride Dance were surprised by this 11th hour turnaround considering the controversy back in December, but weren’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Although the dance saw an impressive turnout, they had no way of knowing how much of this was due to Twisted Element’s closure, or endorsement of the event.

The Twisted Element announced that they have reopened as of June 25th.
