Youth Theatre Project Presented by: Camp fYrefly Edmonton - Wednesday, March 18, 2009 (7:00PM) Location: Pride Centre of Edmonton - Community Centre 9540 - 111 Avenue Edmonton Summary: - Details: The Youth Theatre Project (YTP) is an opportunity for GLBTQ, questioning and straight youth to get together and create theatre. We perform skits based on ours and other people's experiences with homophobic bullying in order to teach other youth that homophobia is not okay. The YTP performs in schools and community agencies. This year we are creating a documentary of the project! Youth will have the opportunity to perform and talk about their experiences with homophobic bullying in the film. As well, youth will learn about the various stages of and skills involved in making a film. The Youth Theatre Project meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm at the Pride Centre. The Pride Centre is located at 9540 - 111 Ave (Norwood Blvd). Join the YTP's facebook group listed under Pride Centre of Edmonton Youth Theatre Project.
