Entertainer of the Year 2013 Tequila Mockingbird hosts the annual competition that celebrates and recognizes the talents of performers within the ISCWR organization.

How it works:

Seven (7) nominees are selected as candidates for the title. Candidates are chosen:

• 1 by the Empress

• 1 by the Emperor

• 1 by the Executive Board

• 1 by the current Entertainer of the Year title holder

• 3 by the public via an online nomination process.  To nominate a candidate:  http://www.iscwr.ca/EoY2014.aspx

These seven nominees are invited to perform for the title - they must be able to attend and perform at the Entertainer of the Year pageant to qualify. No less than 4 nominees will compete for the title.

Nominees are judged on criteria as established by the current reign. 50% by a panel of judges and 50% by voting of those in attendance.

The winner will reign for the following year, to step-down at the next Entertainer of the Year Pageant.

The following are the expectations of the title holder:

• Performance at a minimum of 3 court events during their reign

• As title holder it is expected that a minimum of $500 be raised for the Court charities.

Upon successful completion of their year, the Entertainer of the Year will be offered a walk at the Coronation Ball following their reign as well as a suggested 1/2 page message in the souvenir ball program.
