Tiara Manila has made a brilliant impression on the Edmonton Drag scene since coming to Canada from Manila, Philippines in 2008. Otherwise known as Jude Yangzos, Edmonton native Manila started doing drag in 2010, being inspired by the performers at the Odyssey in Vancouver.

In the short 5 years she has been performing, Manila has made a name for herself as co-creator of Queens of the Orient, a drag show headlining at Buddies in Edmonton. This show was inspired by an impromptu Miss Universe fashion show she and some friends decided to put on at a friend’s apartment.

She is heavily involved in the Edmonton LGBT community, and has produced a fundraising event which resulted in a donation of $1400 to the Philippines after the disastrous typhoon that struck in 2014. In addition, she holds the current "Alberta's Drag Superstar" title.

In her off time, Manila loves sewing her own costumes and those of her co-stars - a skill that was completely self-taught with the influence of watching her mom at a young age - and busying herself with outdoor sports. A self-proclaimed adventurous, she has recently changed careers after working 7 years in the hotel industry. She is now a talented makeup artist at MAC cosmetics.
