Dear Nina,
I’m a 24 year-old gay male who lives with a 26 year-old-lesbian, whom we’ll call Miss Titty. Our living arrangement was working very well until recently. Now she insists on walking around the house without her shirt on (did I mention she doesn’t wear a bra either?). She is a very strong and independent person and quite hard to talk to. I tried once, but it ended up being a debate over women’s rights to bare breasts. Can you imagine if my parents just happen to be in the neighbourhood and decided to drop by? Nina what would you suggest?
Please help,
Nipples to the wind
Dear Nipples,
While this queen is all for a woman’s right to bare her breasts, she is also all about respecting your roommates, and Miss Titty obviously doesn’t have any for you my dear (unless of course you yourself are walking around topless as well). But seeing how this is your only complaint, and you are willing to continue living with Miss Titty, may I suggest one of the following options. First you could always go the route of leaving her shirts absolutely everywhere, I mean in the fridge, on the couch, in the sink... I could go on but I think you get the point. Or, you could always go the most direct route and sit Miss Titty down (with a top on I hope) and give her the hard facts that either the boobs get put away or she’ll find you’ve gone away permanently!! In my experience the only way roommate situations work are with open and honest communication. Anything less is a ticking time bomb.
P.S. Miss Titty
You should know that most queer boys want to see a pair of breasts like most lesbians want to see a penis.
