Otter Fashion, Inc. Founder and CEO, Josh Harrell, announced today that actor Charlie David will partner with him to grow Harrell’s colorful men’s clothing and accessory line. Aimed at the gay male market, the Otter Fashion line was established by Harrell in 2006 and has enjoyed rapid growth ever since.

Harrell and David first teamed up as producers on the film Mulligans. According to Harrell, “When Charlie expressed an interest to spread his wings into the fashion world, it was a no-brainer for me to invite him to join up with Otter as the Creative Director.” In this role, David will help design the collection, as well as act as the brand’s ambassador to the world through Otter Fashion’s multimedia ventures.

“I fell in love with Otter while shooting the third season of Here television’s Dante’s Cove,” stated David. “The Otter clothing line was featured in the show and I wore it in several episodes. Soon after I met Otter Fashion owner Josh Harrell and we became fast friends.”

Since June 2006, Otter Fashion has quickly grown to an international online and catalog retailer with headquarters in Atlanta and London and shipping worldwide daily. “The partnership with Charlie is natural.” says Harrell. “Together we have developed a strategic plan to reposition the brand, to build awareness and to secure its future.”

The first phase of the new repositioning is the launch of the Legendary Lovers™ Collection of men’s jewelry as a part of the Otter brand. “We all know about Romeo & Juliet, Samson & Delilah, Captain Smith & Pocahontas and Captain & Tenille, but what about Michelangelo and Tommaso De'Cavalieri?” queried Harrell.

The first pieces in the collection are 13 masculine leather cuffs named after some of the most famous gay couples of the past. Featured legendary gay lovers include: Achilles & Patroclus, Lawrence of Arabia & Dahoum, Oscar Wilde & Lord Alfred Douglas. “They compliment each other, but they are not identical - just like any good couple. Hopefully our customers will be inspired to have their own Legendary Love!” noted David. More pieces will follow including rings, necklaces and bracelets.(GC)
