The multi-award winning Margarita is returning to Calgary and opening at The Plaza Friday June 21st at 7pm. It opened Fairy Tales last month charming audiences. The premise for the film is this:
When illegal Mexican nanny "Margarita" is fired by her cash-strapped yuppie employers, it sets in motion a series of events leaving her torn between her loyalties & the law.
It features some amazing and recognizable Canadian talent and was shot in Toronto by filmmakers Laurie Colbert and Dominique Cardona. The cast includes:

Patrick McKenna (Hard Rock Medical, Traders, Red Green Show) is hilarious as the yuppie Dad whose blown their investments playing the market.
Claire Lautier (My Soul to Take, Ghost Town) is spot on as the left-leaning
but comfort loving Doctor.
Christine Horne ( Republic of Doyle, The Stone Angel, Flashpoint) is the
beautiful law student from WASPY Toronto, Margarita’s commitment phobic, closeted girlfriend.
