Halloween edition to feature costume party on October 27
Celebrate Halloween weekend at Studio Bell After Hours with headliner DJ Shub (formerly of A Tribe Called Red) on Friday, October 27 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
DJ Shub has been filling dance floors around the globe for his blend of beats that combine traditional powwow chants with hip hop and electronic rhythms. After Hours will also include selections from National Music Centre Artist in Residence alum Corinthian (UK techno, new garage, and breakbeat scramblers) and Mollyfi (breakbeats).
"We’re thrilled to welcome a world-renowned DJ into the After Hours mix," said Adam Fox, NMC’s Director of Programming. "Aside from the music, this will be an especially exciting After Hours as we’ll be celebrating the Halloween weekend with a costume competition, so make sure to dress up!"
In addition to lots of live tunes, NMC will also be programming a range of interactive activities for guests, including:
