Eeny, meeny, miny, moe! Piper-Heidsieck unveils its Holiday Grand Present Bow pack available across Canada as of this week. Offered in the iconic red and gold, this isothermal neoprene sleeve will keep cool the House’s Cuvée Brut. The final touch on its evening dress comes in the form of a satin ribbon tied delicately around the neck.

Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut in its Grand Present Bow is available throughout Canada.

Since 1785, the bubbles of PIPER-HEIDSIECK, one of the oldest Champagne houses, have been accompanying those special, poignant moments of our lives. Traditionally associated with the ritual of gifts, the holiday season is an opportunity to make these moments even more unforgettable.  This is the time when our bottles don their new finery, to become true presents. Ready for giving, ready to provide emotions,  brimming with fantasy and charm. Presentation!

Colourful, bold, playful: for this end-of-year season the house of PIPER-HEIDSIECK has redesigned its packaging. Whether you say "dono" in Italian, "pemberian" in Malay or "gjöf" in Icelandic, the word "gift" has the same effect in all four corners of the world: it is one of the sweetest words to the ear and one of greatest pleasure to offer or receive. So, in the run up to the holidays, PIPER-HEIDSIECK Champagne is dressing up to the nines and is celebrating the art of giving with its Grand Present collection.

Cuvée Brut

PIPER-HEIDSIECK Cuvée Brut is a classic, structured, full-bodied and bursting with fruit Champagne. The blend is composed of a majority of Pinots Noirs, incorporating more than 100 crus from around the Champagne region and Meuniers from the Grande and Petite Montagne de Reims region.

On the eye: A clear, golden Champagne robe par excellence. Delicate and fine bubbles resulting from an extended maturation time.

On the nose: Fresh fruit dominates, with pear and russet apple, and a few hints of citrus fruits such as star fruit.  The finish evokes fresh grapes, livened with hints  of freshness and aniseed.

On the palate: A structured, full-bodied and franc wine.  A juicy, fleshy pear and golden grape texture.  The finish narrows to citrus and grapefruit flavours. A wine with great fruit, a good mouthfeel and  a harmonious balance.

Rosé Sauvage

A blended Rosé added to the great PIPER-HEIDSIECK Cuvée Brut classic blend is a generous champagne. A great, not so classic, structured, full-bodied Champagne, with more than just a hint of red fruits and elaborated with a majority of Pinots Noirs, wines from over 100 crus, Meuniers from the Grande and Petite Montagne de Reims.

On the eye: A flamboyant, scarlet red robe - a recognizable signature. Delicate and lively effervescence.

On the nose: A rich and expressive red fruit nose - blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry and Gariguette strawberry freshened with citrus, mandarin and blood orange. A finish lifted with paprika and saffron.

On the palate: A brisk, original and juicy wine which simultaneously offers black cherry, blackberry, pink grapefruit and blood orange notes. This structure and fruitiness is enriched with warm, spicy notes of Espelette pepper, tea and liquorice.

Food Pairings suggestions

- Use Plain Greek Yogourt to taste and blend in fresh or jarred garlic, a drop of two of lemon juice and smoked paprika to taste - top with a cooked shrimp
