Alberta Ballet is delighted to present the company premiere of The Three Musketeers as the second production of the 2014-2015 Season. With performances at Calgary’s Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium October 23-25 and at Edmonton’s Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium November 7-8, this spectacular production is perfect for all ages.

This is the first time this production has been performed in Canada, and is a terrific opportunity to see choreography by Canadian David Nixon. In addition, Sir Malcolm Arnold’s score for this ballet has never been performed in Canada, and Alberta Ballet will be accompanied by the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for this Canadian premiere.

Nixon’s action packed ballet is filled with impressive sword fights, swashbuckling comedy, stunning choreography and beautiful romantic duets.
