On World Aids Day (Dec. 1, 2013) musical pop group BLUSH, produced by the legendary Quincy Jones, will release their new, original song and music video, "Doing It Better" featuring hip hop artist Russell Curry. Commissioned by the Singapore-based organization, Action for AIDS (AFA), the all-girl international popstar sensation have created a song embodying the spirit of promoting safe sex to celebrate AFA’s 25th anniversary.

BLUSH,  the only Pan-Asian vocal group to successfully have two singles hit Top 3 on the Billboard dance charts  -- "Undivided" with special guest, Snoop Dogg, and "Dance On" which rose to #1 -- has been gaining more and more of a foothold globally. In fact, they have already shared the bill with international acts Justin Bieber, the Black Eyed Peas, Jessie J, The Wanted and PSY. Blush has wowed audiences around the world from Summer Sonic in Tokyo to NBA JAM Live in China with their pop, R&B and dance fusion. http://www.blushband.com/

"The fight to combat and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS around the world is one that should never be abandoned.  As a lifelong advocate of using music and the arts to bring forth awareness and positive change for mankind, I am enormously proud that BLUSH is using their talents to help carry forth this message of safety and responsibility on World AIDS Day," says producer Quincy Jones.

Action for AIDS' mission is to increase awareness, education and understanding of AIDS/HIV infection which continues to be a serious world health issue with the CDC recording 2.5 million new cases in 2011.  "AIDS educational  messages must promote condom use in an empowering and appealing fashion. Young people need to make safer sex a part of their lives. Our team has produced a beautiful, inclusive and powerful music video to meet this need. We are honored to have BLUSH join our initiative and proud to present "Doing It Better" as their contribution in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS. Music motivates and we know this will help spread the message," states President of Action for AIDS, Professor Roy Chan.(GC)
