Subject: gay couple, one moving to Calgary, other one trying to join
Hi
I have a European citizenship and it looks like I am getting an opportunity to move to Calgary for a job. My partner and I are currently in the US and he is working for a restaurant franchise (which has locations in Calgary) and he is doing very well with his job, but he came to the US to apply for political asylum and it did not work out for him and he is from Central America and we don't at this point see how we can both live together if I move to Calgary and want to keep the relationship.
I have contacted the lawyer resources here at gaycalgary.com
If anyone wants to give us advice please reach out! jcec@ymail.com
thanks in advance for any help
PS getting married in the US is not an option for us at this point
