Subject: Looking for engagement ring for my man
Hi,

My boyfriend and I got engaged, but it was in an untraditional manner, a mutual conversation in the sheets of a love wrapped night. The engagement is serious, as is our desire to take some of the more traditional steps, such as having engagement rings. Note how I said it in plural, we both want to have engagement rings.

I would like to know where i can find such rings. As far as I can tell, when one types "engagement rings" jewelry store websites will only display female options.

The wedding rings will be a lot more expensive, so the engagement rings don't have to be extravagant, especially as we are just starting to settle as a couple with all the financial responsibilities that entails.

So my question is:
- where is the best place to find a nice pair of inexpensive rings? Keep in mind neither likes gold or diamonds.

Out of curiosity I want to ask one more question:
- Should I present him with both rings or should I give him the ring  got for him and wait for him to reciprocate?

Go crazy answering. Thanks.

Would you be replacing the engagement ring with a wedding ring later or continue wearing the engagement ring in addition to the wedding ring?  We didn't have much money either, and went straight to wedding bands.  Amazon.ca has some good ones at around $25 or so and up, and very masculine.  Check Amazon out if you must have engagement rings as well as wedding bands.

I suggest the leader in your relationship present the other with both rings--definitely more traditional, which seem to be what you are after.
