GayCalgary.com is meant to be a website for GLBT+ people of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations.  As a result, some topics of discussion may not be suitable for our younger visitors.  That's why a number of forum rooms have age restrictions to prevent minors from viewing and participating in adult discussions.

Age restricted rooms cannot be accessed by guests without memberships, as we cannot verify thier age.

GayCalgary.com visitors with Memberships can gain appropriate access to age-restricted rooms by specifying their date of birth in their Member Profile, even if their profile is not public.  If their age meets the minimum requirement, they are allowed to view and participate in the rooms.

GayCalgary is not responsible for minors who falsify their age to access restricted rooms.  Should it come to our attention that an individual has done this, their membership will be deactivated.
