Training Room Presented by: AIDS Calgary Calgary - Monday, November 24, 2008 (9:00AM - 4:00PM) Location: Calgary Cares Centre 110, 1603 10th Avenue SW Calgary Summary: - Details: CATIE “HIV Treatment Core Training” - 2 Day Workshop. HIV Treatment Core Training aims to increase basic knowledge of HIV treatment as well as introduce participants to CATIE and other HIV treatment information resources. This training does not seek to create treatment information experts, but to assist community workers and volunteers to support and advocate for their clients/ members in accessing treatment and in decision-making with healthcare providers. At the end of the core training, participants should be able to explain HIV treatment terms in language that the ordinary person can understand as well as answer to and find information on the common questions people living with HIV ask.
