The Papa Party is on a mission to produce thirty-three spectacular gay events in major cities throughout the world in 2019. Recent events have taken place in Paris, Lisbon, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Rotterdam and Lyon. This Friday, March 15, it debuts the "Army of Love" in Washington DC at Karma DC (2221 Adams Pl NE). The internationally renowned DJ/Producer Danny Verde will headline with local DJ phenomenon TWiN providing the opening set.

"We are working to redefine people's expectations of what makes the best party in the world," says Papa founder Eliad Cohen who be on hand to host ‘Army of Love’. "We’re doing it by taking The Papa Party to the hottest cities on every continent."

For the DC event, Cohen is partnering with local gay party producer Q, aka Mother Fantasy, of La Fantasy Productions. "I discovered my love for the dance floor while attending music festivals around the world so when Eliad approached me with the opportunity to bring The Papa Party to Washington DC, I seized it," Q explains. He sees Papa Party as the chance to put DC, the city he loves, on the global party map."

Eliad Cohen is an Israeli producer, actor, model and entrepreneur with over 1 million Instagram followers, making him the third most followed Israeli personality, behind only Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot and top model, Bar Refaeli. Cohen is also the founder of Papawear, the popular swimwear line for men.

He launched the first Papa Party in 2011 at Tel Aviv Pride. Its combination of high-energy, progressive music, arranged by world-class DJs, with surprise performances interspersed throughout, helped the party gain a large international following. After several successful events in Israel, Papa Party premiered in Europe with a groundbreaking event at Madrid Pride. Then, in 2012, it launched its World Tour in New York. Since then, it has become one of the most respected parties on the international gay circuit.

34-year old Q is a military veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He began his career hosting private soirees in his penthouse apartment that quickly turned into invite-only after parties throughout DC.

Q is best known for his themed-events. He incorporates wild surprises into his parties such as dancing Chinese dragons or dancers in electric body suits or exotic entertainers. "It’s all about creating a magical experience with exciting surprises that turn up the wow-factor and leave revelers craving for more," he says.

His last five Washington DC events – including his most recent "Sex Shop Party" during MAL weekend – sold-out within weeks and were peppered with nightlife glitterati like transgender model Amanda Lepore and actress Dominique Jackson from the hit FX show, "Pose".

The Papa Party World Tour promises to be Q’s most ambitious undertaking yet. "I have a lot riding on this as eyes from around the globe will be watching to make sure I do right by Eliad and The Papa Party franchise," he says. "You better believe I will not let Papa down."
